Handy little pain pen

This portable pain pen has been a wonderful addition to my self care routine. I’ve suffered from TMJ pain for years, and find that this device can often help prevent pain from occurring, when I use it first thing in the morning, to help relax the muscles before pain has a chance to set in. So, I guess you could say I use it as a preventative. I’ll also use it if I feel pain starting to creep in, and many times it will resolve. I think catching the pain early is key! Great little invention!

My Story

I’m Noam, a mechanical engineer and TMD patient of over 4 years. It started like it does for most: with some clicking on one side. Then both. Then intermittent lockups. Now, I’ve had a disc displacement without reduction for over a year.

I’ve tried it all: NSAIDs, anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxants, physical therapy, even surgery.

But my jaw still wouldn’t unlock.

That experience, years of searching, waiting and guessing made one thing painfully clear. There are almost no tools made for us. So I quit my job and started building the ones that should’ve existed all along.

It’s Multfunctional… the heat is moce and soothing. It helps assist with that aching in those areas all around the joint that are pulling, tight and ropey.

The vibration with heat helps those tight areas relax and the point on the pen gets into areas that need attention and are usually difficult to get to relax and this helps considerably.

I was diagnosed with TMJ 36 years ago and had very little relief. After a while, you just get used to living with the pain. I saw this on Facebook and decided to give it a try — and I absolutely love it.

I keep one by my bedside and use it every morning and every night before bed. It has truly been a game changer for me. I loved it so much that I bought a second one to keep at work so I can use it throughout the day.

Wish I knew this sooner

I tried everything I could to relieve my TMJ pain but I cannot find a solution to keep them from flaring up. I gave this a try and brought this everywhere I went. I massage my cheek whenever I notice they are starting to feel sore and I could bring them back a couple times to prevent me from getting headache. This is definitely an investment but it is something I have a better quality of life so I think it is worth the money.

Can't wait to test it out!

I just ordered my pen today. I have had (Diagnosed) TMJ since I was 14 (10 years). I was so excited to see a tool like this and am really looking forward to receiving mine! I did however, already receive the digital guide book that Noam includes. Let me just say, WOW. 75 pages of detailed, meticulous research. I'm only 10 pages in so far, and I've learned more about TMJ in those ten pages than I have in ten years of personal experience and (light) research. When I saw it included a guide book, I was expecting a little perhaps 5 page booklet, not a highly detailed and informative research paper. Seeing all of the work he put into just the guide book makes me ten times more excited to receive my pen! (Hopefully within the week). I will definitely be back to review the actual pen in a couple weeks.
