My Story
I’m Noam, a mechanical engineer and TMD patient of over 4 years. It started like it does for most: with some clicking on one side. Then both. Then intermittent lockups. Now, I’ve had a disc displacement without reduction for 2 years.
I’ve tried it all: NSAIDs, anti-inflammatories, muscle relaxants, physical therapy, even 2 surgeries.
But my jaw still wouldn’t unlock.
That experience, years of searching, waiting and guessing made one thing painfully clear. There are almost no tools made for us. So I quit my job and started building the ones that should’ve existed all along.

My physical therapist taught me the most effective areas to massage when having TMJ pain. I started using a facial massager on those places for extra effect. So I was really happy to find the TMJ pen, which is much more effective than a generic facial massager.
The vibration level has a nice range, at first I thought the strongest level would be too high, but in fact it worked very well when the pain was strong. The heat is a wonderful feature, it gets hotter than I expected and feels very nice. I still have only used up to level 3 on heat. Sometimes I just use heat to soothe. The other thing I really like is the shape. One of the most effective places for me when massaging TMJ is to push far as I can up into the soft tissue on my jaw from the underside. The thin shape makes it easy to reach this area, unlike the other round shaped massager I was using. If you use the TMJ pen on the outside, and use your hand on the other side inside your mouth, you can have a very strong massage.
Note it is not going to make 100% of pain vanish instantly. It helps soothe and is totally worth it, but have realistic expectations for the results. Chronic TMJ pain has had me desperate for relief and this is a great tool in my arsenal. Thank you for this lovely product.
I have had TMJ pain for the past 3 years. I have a night guard, but that feels more like a protection for my teeth, then really any pain relief. I have had my TMJ pen for the past 5 days and within the first day I already felt like the pain loop had diminished. It was like hitting all the trigger points with the pen helped to radiate the relief all over. I do this in the morning, anytime i have been talking a lot, after I eat, and before I go to bed. I can actually wake up without a migraine and debilitating pain. The price is worth it!
I cant begin to tell you how great the heat and point pressure and scraping are for my jaw. I've never had a single item provide so much relief for my TMJ pain.
That being said, the case/body is 3d printed and has begun to crack along a couple of the layer lines after like a week of not even daily use. Especially if you're applying pressure to your muscles using the flat side, be sure to support the other side!

Having said that, I want you to remember that we have a 1 year warranty, meaning we can replace that unit of yours free of charge. The new one should have no problems :)

I have had clicking jaws for years. You can even hear it when I eat. My daughter sent me the link to this and I bought it months ago. Recently I was grinding my teeth when I sleep. My jaw has been in such pain and I remembered this pen. I am serious that I think I would be miserable without it. I got a night guard and then I am using this pen daily and finally I feel the pain gone and my clicking gone as well. It is magical and actually feels so good. I never leave home without it!
