Best Soft Foods for TMJ Diet

I'm writing this a few days after having my second arthroscopy, so I wanted to make a list of some of my top picks for soft food that makes recovery not so horrible. 

  • Mash up bananas with some peanut butter
  • Cottage Cheese is elite protein (add some honey or jam)
  • Yogurt
  • Ice Cream
  • Smoothies (add protein powder)
  • Tuna salad/Chicken Salad/Egg Salad
  • Pancakes
  • Overcooked pasta with ground beef (it's not so bad)
  • Blended Soups (duh)
  • Eggs (Duh)
  • Fish (canned or cooked)
  • Hummus (combine with ground/canned meats)
  • Avocados 
  • Apple Sauce 
  • Mashed Potatoes (duh)
  • Canned Peas
  • Chia pudding
  • Bean/lentil puree or just overcooked 
  • Silken tofu (with some soy sauce)
  • Oatmeal
  • Cream of wheat
  • Overcooked Dumplings 
  • Muffins/Cornbread
